Muffy - The Wildlife Empire

Muffy - The Wildlife Empire
Muffy was found on the ground - suspected to be in search of water. Because her mother could not be found - she was brought into care. Koalas in drought affected areas are at risk of car hits, tick infestations and other problems as they come to the ground in search of water.
YOU WILL RECEIVE:
An adoption certificate,
A “letter from Muffy” for the class
Two updates over the term and
A free download “Action Pack” with links to the Early Years Learning Framework.

Children are encouraged to write letters and create artwork to send to The Wildlife Empire (more information included in the free download).
THE BACKGROUND:
Tennille and her family run Wildlife Empire in Goondiwindi, Queensland.
They rescue, rehabilitate and release injured and orphaned wildlife within a wide area that is currently drought-stricken. Over the last few months they have been inundated with rescues and animals who have been affected by bushfires.
All native animals are accepted into at the Wildlife Empire. These include kangaroos, wallabies, possums, birds, echidnas, reptiles and bats.
The wildlife adoption program supports The Wildlife Empire with the purchase of specialised formulas, food, bottles, teats and medical supplies for animals like Muffy as this shelter receives no outside funding and relies entirely on the goodwill of others to rescue and rehabilitate our precious native wildlife.
