Stanthorpe Emergency Wildlife Rescue Supplies

70.00

At present, Stanthorpe and surrounds are experiencing devastating bushfires. Over the coming weeks, the true impact on wildlife during these bushfires will be known. Animals are being rescued daily due to loss of habitat and food source, extreme dehydration and burns. Betty Balch, president of Granite Belt Wildlife Carers expects the majority of rescues to occur in the coming weeks. “We are observing local wildlife. We can see they are burnt & hurt, but we can’t catch them. We have to watch and wait until they drop, so we can at least rescue the joeys”. Each $70 purchase, will supply an emergency rescue bundle of supplies for native animals rescued by Granite Belt Wildlife Carers. Each business, school, classroom or centre, that purchases one or more Rescue Bundles, will receive a Certificate of thanks for your support to Wildlife in the Granite Belt.
